  1. Jaci Adair Willow, along with Mary Wenkstern and Tom Porter, attended the Florida funeral for Bob Thomson. Tom Porter spoke and Jaci sent us the following information about the services:

"-We picked up Mary Wenkstern and Tom Porter met us there. Other Moundites in attendance were Doug Divine, who was Frank's scuba diving partner here in Florida and Jerry Simar, Roger Simar's brother. Tom Porter got up and gave a wonderful eulogy as he used to live 3 doors way from Frank on Island Park. To paraphrase some of his remarks,

Tom and Frank each bought little motor scooters and would drive them around Island Park, to everyone else's peril. Tom described one such event when they were going down into Frank's driveway, Frank went over the handlebars.
When he got up he said to Tom, "I think I cracked one of my front teeth". But in reality, he had lost all of his front teeth. Tom said Frank was lucky to have lived to age 72, as he was a daredevil of the first order and should have been dead a long time ago. What Tom did was great, as he lightened up the occasion a little."

Bunny and Frank's daughter Cheri was there, but their son was not able to attend this service. It was truly a beautiful service and we felt privileged to be there. Please pass this on to our other classmates. Thanks! Jaci Willow
